There's also ForkAwesome[1] which has 744 icons. My main gripe with many icon sets that they often miss an icon or two kinda breaking the set, with fork awesome I hadn't had that issue just because of how massive it is and much ea

Not OP but main gripe is that it fails to integrate with native environments and for efficiency-orentied note taking app losing that efficiency edge native environments provide is just counter-productive.

I actually feel the opposite about Obsidian: finally a note app that feels native with powerful keyboard/action shortcuts, vim navigation and great categorization (graphs, references, tags). We use Notion (Electron) at work and it has

Honeslty I was never a fan of sticky headers and this one [1] is no exception. Is it really worth cluttering the reading space when you can reach search in your browser's bar or just pressing the home button to scroll up instead? Ge

Thanks! I'm kinda repeating myself but major differences: 1. Text Replacement enters the text and _then_ replaces it which for me is really distracting. 2. It has this little pop up even for a single option which is also very distracti

What do you mean by "hold u"? Holding u just repeats the key, right? Why is macosx system is better? Compose keys are mnemonic: e + . = ė ‒ you don't need to remember any abitrary codes and there are no popups or any implicit

Would be great if the instance introduced itself rather than throw user straight to registration. Like what's the purpose of the instance? is it a long term thing? What are the rules? etc.

I don't think this is the right thread to discuss the ethics of animal labor but veganism argues that use of animal labor is unethical and that's where the contraversy originated.
