I’ve always wondered what happens after an emergency landing. Do you just kinda sit there and wait for bags and personal belongings to be offloaded? And then wait for another flight out?

I’ve been using YouTube way less since they did this. I watch YouTube on 3 devices; iPhone, iPad and my desktop. On two of those I’m already forced to watch ads, and I accepted it. Now besides the ads content creators already put in their v

Jokes aside. Them being remote could be a huge selling point for them. Building software for remote workers, tried and tested by everyone in the company who makes it.

I do agree with you on the price point. And sometimes I do feel like I'm overpaying just to have the game up to date. Obviously I don't know any of the financials behind making such a game, but I would imagine that licensing makes

I had the same experience with some backend engineers, they constantly looked down on the front-end engineers, ridiculing JavaScript and CSS. And while all those frontend engineers picked up backend languages and became fullstack developers

Are class components really considered out of date? I still prefer writing those compared to functional components. Vue is also moving in that direction with their composite API. I think it’s why I like Svelte, it’s just JavaScript.

In fairness, the PM was the kind of guy who has no technical experience, but was arrogant enough to pretend like he did, and most of the devs were pretty junior. It was the first time for me having to even argue about this.

I legitimately recently had to argue with a PM and his developers, that a base64 encoded user ID isn’t considered security best practices for API authentication. Even when I showed them how I can produce the “secret” myself, they kept argui

It is definitely a little high, and I have no doubt you could live way cheaper. You could probably rent an APA hotel for less than $50/night, eat more local for $5/meal.
