The emergent behavior of LLMs being amazing at accurately predicting tokens in previously unseen conditions might be more powerful than more rigorous machine learning extrapolations. Especially when you throw noisy subjective context at it.

Humans already make arbitrary content. It's a question of scale. Humans could always write things down, but only the printing press changed the world.

That's just hardware. If you need to build and maintain your own devops tooling it can balloon in complexity and cost real quick. It would still likely be much cheaper to do everything in house, but you would be assuming a lot of risks

That's the problem with set rules. Overly productive and active people create rules to better focus their productivity and tame their impulses. Someone unambitious and lazy would see more benefit from a single rule that says go do some

Their user base is the moat. Same as any network effect business. If all your peers are using a thing, it's really hard to convince entire industry to switch even if something better is available.

How is there not a lot of special data? Isnt it literally infinite via even the simplest simulator? You could generate an unlimited training set just by implementing tik tac toe on an unbound grid, for example, in like 10 lines of code.
