Cron syntax sucks. Cron is good for a few small use cases but sucks for real world scheduling.

It’s really good. Was discussing it with a friend recently who said he thinks it works out cheaper because it takes less loops to get things right. I’ve been having better success with it so would recommend it over Claude Code for now.

Is notion still being developed? Seems to have stagnated and feels like there’s 0 investment now. It’s getting slow and buggy.

I don’t see anything on that site that wouldn’t work as a website. We were building this type of thing 15-20 years ago just fine.

Unless your FB/Google etc. no this isn’t why companies want a mobile app. They want the infinitely better experience and functionality it brings to their users to keep them as customers. lol downvoted but undisputed.

Donno about your experience but mine was in China the BYD I drove looked fancier and had more features but the build quality wasn’t there. It felt cheaply put together. It didn’t feel like there was weight to the car. If I hit something wou

I don’t know how seniors will cope. You seem to have a solid understanding that you can make use of AI. But most seniors on HN struggle with basic tasks using AI. Juniors are likely to out pace them quickly. But potentially without the exp

Sigh. I thought you were being genuine. Sorry. Your post perfectly explained that you don’t know how to use AI. You’re at the stage where you hear stories. You try it. Don’t get the expected result on first attempt. Then decide it sucks. Yo

This is HN. Even with evidence people here get their feelings hurt and downvote. You cannot engage in conversation when one side is “the science is settled” mentality. or in the case of AI, the majority of people are “wow this is useful and

I still haven’t found anyone who AI wouldn’t be helpful or that isn’t trustworthy enough. People make the /claim/ it’s not useful or they are better without it. When you sit down with them it often turns out they just don’t know h

If you’re going to use a tool. Make an attempt to use it properly. If you do dumb things. Dumb things will happen. Example. This blog post. This is not a problem for everyone using LISTEN/NOTIFY. It’s a problem with not knowing how to
