How was it a game changer? We had handheld gaming units before steam deck and the rig ally outsells the steam deck.

Everyone has upgraded from windows 10 with the exception of like 3 people who are the same people who stayed on windows XP until their favourite game didn’t run on it.

Palestine has had many opportunities for statehood. Current President of Israel is not completely opposed to statehood, citing security concerns which are clearly valid considering Palestine has repeatedly broken cease fire agreements and H

Wow it’s amazing how hacker news which is primarily filled with technology type people has no few using ai or has no idea what they are doing with ai. The saying "Can't see the forest for the trees" really makes a lot of sens

How to tell CC to accept everything. It’s frustrating to need to press yes yes yes yes.

The problem with Claude code is it doesn’t let you walk away. You have to press yes yes yes yes yes yes yes 500 times. Glad it’s missing until they fix this.

NZ did too little too late. There’s a bunch of Chinese who bought a lot… a LOT of houses in NZ. It’s one way of transferring money out of China is to use it for business. And they don’t need to leave China to do it. That was stopped but too

So your inability to prompt, hint, provide context, setup guard rails for the ai to do what you want, is the fault of ai? Sorry to say you don’t know what you’re doing. This isn’t the fault of ai. This is your inability to learn.

It is absolutely hilarious to read the responses from people who can’t use ai make attempts to justify their ability to code better than ai. These are the people who will be replaced. They are fighting so hard against it instead of learning

Still haven’t seen an example. It’s always the same. People don’t want to give hints or context. The moment you start doing things properly it’s “oh no this is just a bad example. It still can’t do what u do”

Java is virtual by default. C# is not. You could mark every single method virtual and mock it like Java. But it’s easier to define a contract and mock that.

lol it’s funny you have to ask. Out of curiosity I asked Claude. “I have an application, it only has a few users, hosted on nginx. There is 1 endpoint which can take up to 5 minutes to execute. What’s the best way to fix this?” Response: “I
