The article only mentions the attack works on Wi-Fi.

This isn't a wi-fi MITM. It's just stealing a facebook/twitter session ID from the packets, tricking facebook/twitter to think the attacker is the real user.

Decent game overall, but I hope you plan on switching out the Advance Wars sprites with something you own in the future. (or use resources from sites like http://opengameart.org/ )

You'd think the 'best native support' would have WebGL. Oh well, I just hope the History API makes it soon so we can stop abusing #anchors in a few years ..

I would think it would be pretty difficult to tell which one is the 'most-cached' since the whole idea is to not hit the server ..

Interesting, but it feels like a re-implementation of SVG. What is the advantage of this over something like RaphaelJS[1], where the SVG/VML objects are actual DOM objects already? [1]: http://raphaeljs.com/

Well, there goes any hopes of WebGL. It's a shame, too, the spec was just finalized last week.

1) It's hard to detect when to fallback. You'd have to set up a list of user-agents you've tested and code around their individual issues. This is not ideal. 2) It doesn't solve the iOS problem (which, as this post points out, has even more

This is basically where I stand as well. Git has no real appeal for me, but GitHub does. Plus, with the ridiculously easy hg-git[1] tool, I'm able to take advantage of GitHub while staying in my Hg comfort zone :) [1]: http://hg-git.github

http://code.google.com/p/box2dweb/ is more up to date and the developer is still actively maintaining it. Like Box2DJS, it is mostly automatically converted from the ActionScript port of Box2D (though Box2DJS, again, is based on an outdat

This is not correct. Think about a service which used PHP's json_decode function. PHP has fixed this bug, so there would be no issue. The problem has nothing to do with JSON. It only affects JSON parsers that run on a JVM.

There are alot of bad practices being used in this code. It gives the impression that you've (ab)used JavaScript for a long time, but haven't actually bothered to read the 101 introduction to the language. E.g.: try { eval('el.

I've been using Linode for over a year, and I have to say they really are the best when it comes to VPS. The distribution choices are great, the emergency AJAX shell is great, and everything (in my experience) is automated to the point wher

The biggest thing to remember is that any command you run will be in a local context. For example, if you want to do things like updating a SVN repo that's located on the server you've mounted, you should SSH directly into the server and pe

At what point does a site become "big enough" that it becomes a marketplace monopoly which is not legally permitted to discriminate? Obviously all sites have a right to control/filter content, but I wonder if there is some law that a giant

I don't understand how this explains the people who claim the iPhone 4 has a higher drop-call rate than their 3GS. It also doesn't explain the video which features the 3GS and 4 side-by-side, where they cannot get the 3GS to drop the call a
