Actually, that's not entirely accurate. Competitor's 'free' OS comes with 'patent fees' to MS. So if you are a HW manufacturer choosing between Android and WP7 you will pay either way. [1] http://www.gottabemobile.com/2011/05/27/htc-pays-5

This chart has nothing to do with individual wages. This is a sum of all incomes from all possible sources devided by population.

Verizon already uses GSM compatible SIM cards in their LTE devices. Same as in any at&t phone. Not sure what antennas you're talking about.

'Move To' and 'Copy To' existed for a long time. I have them on Windows XP. They are not on a toolbar by default, by anyone can add them. Nobody knows about them for one reason - they are useless. Screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/5e5xN.jpg

I also like their idea of 'just swipe'. But I see one big issue - phone cases. Swiping from the edge of the screen is very difficult when you have a protective case.

Bill of Materials is just a fraction of their expenses. We can estimate per phone profit from the quarterly report [1]. - Q1 after-tax profit was NT$14.83bn - Handset shipment for 1Q was 9.7mn units ~ NT$1500 per phone (~US$55/per phone) [1

I think the biggest reason against solar powered <anything> is that 'solar' doesn't mean 'free'. Last time I've checked solar panels were just a way to transport energy (kind of like a battery). I.e. you have to invest $X into panel

Shop's won't take 50s and 100s for another reason. Almost nobody uses them within the borders of USA. The clerk at the store (often a kid from a high school) just don't know how they are supposed to look. ;-)

One could argue that current Europe is a 'United States of Europe'. So no surprise here. In USA it is also easy to 'immigrate' from one state to another if you are a US citizen. Immigrating to Europe from outside Shengen space is as hard as

if you measure iP4 depth at Power button, it will be even less (~3 mm?). Makes about same sense as 7.6mm for N9.

Please, share your best sources. Russian is my native language. I lived in USSR (Central Russia and Far East, Ukraine, Georgia). My children were born in Russia. Don't mind if I take your literature with a grain of salt though. PS: And I kn

This is perfect point which I agree with completely. What I don't agree with is OP's blanket statements like 'privatization is theft'. So far the only argument to support his views were his childhood memories.

I work for a big financial co. When I asked about five consecutive weeks off they did not like it at first. But HR could not find anything against it in "Employee Handbook" (or whatever it's called). At the end they had to give it to me.
