Eh but that's a commercial tool. They don't even seem to have a free community version. I wouldn't pay for that. And prefer Firefox anyway. For remote browser tools I use neko https://github.com/m1k1o/nek

But that's the key thing about tails. You start it fresh every time from a clean usb stick or iso image. It's more than a browser restart, it's a complete system wipe every time. Tails is made on the premise that exactly this

Tails (without persistent storage) will mitigate this though. I'm not too concerned.

Yes but they just don't make a small model. Same as their consumer midrange line (A36/A57). They did before. The Xcover 4S was 146.2 x 73.3 x 9.7 mm (5.76 x 2.89 x 0.38 in) Also, these are business rugged models, unlike the iPhone

Why would they break more often? I don't really see that. We have thousands of Xcovers (also replaceable) in the factories at work and they break no more often than the regular phones in the office environment. In fact people treat the

You forget the Xcover and active lines which do IP68. They stopped making Galaxy active phones but the tabs are still there. The Xcovers too.

And decreasing sales is exactly what the EU wants to accomplish. To stop people buying a whole new phone every couple of years. Unfortunately I do expect other tricks towards planned obsolescence. Long-term support is now a thing but what t

Samsung still make the rugged Xcover range which has both replaceable batteries and waterproofing. And 3.5mm jacks too. These devices are mostly sold in enterprise environments (eg field use, factories) and as such get a lot of wear and tea

That's exactly my point. We don't have the manpower, the materials, the industry. For mars this just isn't happening unless we ship half of Earth's people and resources over there. Who will have to live on a toxic planet

I don't condone people being hurt. Even convicted criminals. However if AI does indeed go on to make masses of people unemployed in a short period, I would kinda understand them destroying datacenters. In fact I wonder if this is the r

It's just that terraforming will require a lot of materials that will have to be brought over from Earth. And every tonne of materials to Mars requires many tonnes of fuel to launch from Earth. I don't think it is possible to ever

I'm surprised Apple doesn't offer an option. On the iPhone you could do this by pressing the power button several times. Not sure if this still works because the iPhone 6 was my last one though.

We don't want datacenters here anyway. They offer almost no economic activity benefits after construction, only low skilled remote hands and security. And they're a huge load on the power grid and cooling water in the area.
