The whole animation to live adaptation idea is equivilant to remaking the original with a new cast, bigger budget, and shorter run time if you're going TV series -> film. Hollywood studios have certain expectations about pacing and

You're probably playing on a PC with mouse and keyboard. The Xbox 360 Mass Effect controls were not great, but that was the original release.

Part of it is that the demand isn’t there for extreme densities. Producers are focussing on speed. Look at base ram in MacBooks, the growth over time is pretty slow.

I fee like I've seen a lot of thick steel plates around the right size sitting around in old workshops. You could probably find something cheaply from a scrap dealer. Thick aluminum or copper seems more rare, I don't know if it&#x

It'd be interesting to just try resting it on a 1/4" thick steel plate. The thermal capacity would be so high that it'd never really warm up.

A while back (90s?) defence involved corporations adopted a "maximum ip" strategy. So they demand license fees for things like scale model F-15 kits. They want to keep that revenue and expand it, so they try to make video game com

The NYT and other media is very friendly to federal bureaucrats who complain about political interference. If the WH was directing them to approve something against their judgment there would have been headlines on major news sites.

There's a great tweet about offices... "Is it weird to be jealous of the corporate dystopia workspaces from 1990s movies? Neo would be sharing that space with 4 people in an open office plan today." https://twitter
