That's very likely the reason they've not bothered with a Linux client yet. I'd bet the typical Linux user has a hell of a lot more data than the typical Windows one. I use B2/restic and only selectively backup things th

Something needed to be done though. I use LibreOffice every few weeks, they still use the toolbar UI by default, and it's faster to google where an option is than to go hunting for it. As a dev I'd love a ctrl+p sublime style sear

Aghh, I have (had?) a project that relied on downloading kindlegen as part of the CI/CD step. I just downloaded it from Amazon each time. I doubt I have a copy of it somewhere. Does anyone have / know of a copy of kindlegen for Li

I publish a CLI app for many platforms, including osx, on GitHub. Using the cross-compile feature of Go it just spits out a binary that Macs can run from a Linux build host. I don't own a Mac so don't see what my users do. Does th

I needed the tool to install the tool. It ships as a `.gz` file. The standard `tar zxvf cheat-linux-amd64.gz` doesn't work. Tried `7z x cheat-linux-amd64.gz` which works.

We buy Lenovo ThinkPads for work. We pay a bit more (not that much, like £50 a laptop I think) for the warranty package. When something goes wrong they send a tech out who repairs it onsite. More minor things like hard drive issues they jus

Not tried anything like this before: looking at TinyPilot and Pi-KVM which one should I use? I'm happy doing some soldering. Is there anything that TinyPilot has that Pi-KVM doesn't? Has Pi-KVM added support for the HDMI dongle yo

Aha, place trust in the site to label their cookies correctly? I see you've covered that with penalising sites who mislabel. Who maintains this list? If it's the browser vendor remember which company owns the largest share in this

How can a browser differentiate between a first-party cookie needed for login and a first-party cookie for tracking? It's legal to use cookies for behaviour such as login which is necessary but you need consent for tracking. If a brows

Very nice, really like this visual style. Was a bit disappointed that the Italy and US maps were just PNGs. Can these not be rendered in browser?

I'm in quite a small niche: tiling window managers. When there's only one window open it takes 100% width and height. Every app I use other than some websites handles this extra space well. You can reduce it by making real or fake

Can attest to wireguard being simple once you know it but horrible to get working the first time. I did, however, make it harder for myself by setting it up on a Unifi gateway. Where every push of an invalid config would put the gateway in
