I think you skip the case when both communicating parties are not native speakers which is probably much more often case than when at least one side knows English well. And risk related to a misunderstanding caused by breaking grammar rules

AFAIK the European model is not as similar as you seem to be convinced. And the origin of copyright was from the beginning related not to the well-being of authors but rather publishers.

I think you misunderstood the previous comment. I think that firstly "ls /path" is entered and if the result is ok, then "; rm $_" is added to the copy of the command then executed.

I keep open 200 and more tabs, especially when I can't finish a job before I start or continue another one. It's a matter of efficiency - closing a group of tabs found after painful and time-consuming research is unreasonable IMO.

Highly biased opinions... What about articles where access to all parts is needed, like scientific articles, manuals, reports, etc? And for the general public too, at least part of readers are able to concentrate on reading much longer than
