Some time ago I saw someone post this on HN: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=6816649 It left me questioning the authors motives. On one hand, if the author intended the event to be about business networking (as he, bei

Newsroom started to suck when it became "will they, won't they" relationship crap and its over the top anti-conservatism. Such a fantastic start, though.

Are alternative news sites better? If so, how? If not, why not? Discounting the questionable journalistic ethics of the 24-hr news cycle media, I am hard pressed to consider the other major news outlets to be as equally questionable. CBS sc

My question stands. the strip has covered topics such as bestiality, suicide, torture, a juicer that "fucks" oranges (note, I didn't say people, in case you were correcting me), among others. There wasn't a similar outcr

I don't understand. What was the apology? For the transphobic thing or the dickwolf thing? What was the similar event?

also, I don't believe that's the actual chronology of the dickwolf debacle.

In its history as a comic, the strip has covered topics such as bestiality, suicide, torture, a juicer that "fucks" oranges, among others. There wasn't a similar outcry. Why is that?

There's really only one person behind this job listing and that's Robert Khoo. He's got great business acumen, but not a great nose in determining the job expectations for a position like this. That being said, it seems like

Those controversies are over-analyzed. People tend to forget that these two guys are, like all of us, human and don't have some sort of fancy PR machine to soften the blowback. Krahulik suffers from chronic anxiety and so when the thre

I agree. My knowledge of the subject is little but the parent author of this thread came off as hyperbolic. I don't understand human biology well, so I left open the possibility that I may have an incorrect opinion, as it uneducated. M

I'm highly skeptical of Truthinlabeling.org. The person/group behind it seem to highlight a kindle book alleging a link between Alzheimer's and MSG? The information is also rather muddled and unclear. I would not consider thi

> We don't believe in the news. I'm 30. I still have faith in mainstream journalism, but not that what comes out of the 24-hour news cycle. That's rubbish. However, there is still a corps of journalists that risk their liv

Look around, the author produced some stuff on 9/11 trutherism. Why share this drivel when it's objectivity is already circumspect from a misleading title?

Not that it is terribly relevant, but I question the authors aptitude in science journalism. I encourage anyone curious to see his articles on the vaccine/autism controversy. Oh, and he's a 9/11 truther, illuminati conspiraci

It would be naive to think that the paper will produce an article that disparages Amazon's labor and business practices, now that it is owned by the same man that is the CEO of Amazon. I'm not sure what his stake is in the company
