Sure, pip is easy enough, but you have to know about pip, DDT and set up a requirements.txt file if you want to share it with anyone else. There are LOTS of handy third-party Django tools, but you need to know about them. That's the pa

DDT is great tool. This is one of those things that should be much easier to install into a standard Django install, IMHO. It might not be a battery to include, but it should be a battery that is really, really easy to install.

Just watched the 60 minutes segment: Bezos say they won't be ready until 2015 at the earliest, likely 2016. (Edit: as the commenter below pointed out, I misheard the timeframe: is is 4-5 years out) He said the range is 10 miles, which

My guess is one of the project's goals it to reach programming. If that is the case, Python is a great language. If the goal was simply to make fighting robots, something more agnostic would be cool. That said, the system enforces a 30

I would recommend using 1.6 and South for now. 1.7 is at least nine months away, and who knows where the API will go in that time. You're probably better off developing a stable version of your project using 1.6/South, and then re

This is great! It articulates what most of us programmers feel internally when we're interrupted. What's I'd also love to see is a cartoon explaining the external effect of an interruption. Like, when you interrupt a programm

No, I think the puck is already at two of the three platforms they targeted with the new release: web and desktop. I think mobile/tablets isn't there yet, but that is changing, too. Microsoft isn't getting much traction yet,
