People are different. I doubt the majority would prefer that over _every_ creative output. But I would 100% prefer 8h of folding laundry over inventing stories (aka creative writing) and I bet there are dozens of people who hate making musi

Without having a deeper look into it - could be a replacement for any non-profit or bigger sports club or whatever org that uses Slack or Zulip or whatever now. But that's about everything that comes to my mind...

Let's ignore CEOs. In my parents' generation it would not be absurd to buy a small house here to raise the kids in, with a single parent working and the other caring for the kids, even if you don't have a well-paying job. A d

Interesting opinions as someone from Europe who a) never watched a full episode b) never got the stuff when it was actually recent (1-2w) c) has been bombarded with, debatably really good, best-of/classic skits on youtube. I'm jus

Yes it is, potentially. Where I live (and grew up) the only game played with these type of cards is Poker, and we didn't exactly play Poker growing up - so all our local games use a different deck of card. And in other not-too-distant

My writing utensil of choice (I don't write a lot by hand) for the last decade was a whatever-its-called 0.5mm gel pen from Muji. Picked one up in my first visit to a Muji store in HK in 2012 and have since grabbed a couple more when I

I've not used python professionally for years - but I have had to do this maybe once in many years of usage. Seen it like once more in my team(s). A rounding error. I've seen someone having to do this in node like once every month

That's a weird take, we have enough stories of people growing up with mobile phones having less of a clue about desktop OSes than people aged 30-60. We have other people (seniors now) who never really clicked with computers in the 90s-

Maybe Germany is an outlier, but ISDN for telephony (less for internet) was still huge until.. I dunno, 2010? 2015? That's nearly 15 years of being the default solution for smaller companies. (and also bigger ones, and also private hou
