I agree with that. Though we'd need some cost effective way to monitor on leash etc rules are followed by the owners. Around here we have native reserves to try bring back native birds, but vast majority of dog owners ignore the existi

Also dogs aren't great for bird populations. Especially here in NZ where we have some flightless birds. I would even argue that dogs are a bigger issue here. At least around where I live, a large majority of people own at least 1 dog a

Yep, it's a thing. Been using it for a few years, works very well here. (it's not free though, you need Plex Pass, though if you're planning to stay for many years, the 1 time fee is worth it, discounted usually 1-2 times a y

Yep, still a thing here in New Zealand. Though the number of people who still have a landline connection at home is dropping greatly, and the few that also have a phone which can run off the phoneline even fewer. (you need a fairly basic la

I'd love for this to work, but in practise I feel the owner on the 999m will more likely stop investing in sed company when it reaches 999m and spin up a new company or some other loophole to get around it. (or if it's individual

I can say that the paid service from ElevenLabs can do long form TTS very well. I used it for a while to convert long articles to voice to listen to later instead of reading. It works very well. I only stopped because it gets a little pric

Dimming is complicated. Some switches do it differently to others. Your dimmable bulbs probably have fineprint somewhere saying which it supports.

Also need credit cards for some hotels, and a high limit if you plan to stay at several hotels in quick succession, as it takes a few days to weeks for a hold to be released.
