- wingworks 3y agoYep, it's a thing. Been using it for a few years, works very well here. (it's not free though, you need Plex Pass, though if you're planning to stay for many years, the 1 time fee is worth it, discounted usually 1-2 times a year) https://support.plex.tv/articles/115003944134-removing-commercials/ https://support.plex.tv/articles/115003944134-removing-comme... You can also use something like threadfin / xteve to stream free live feeds (things like public channels, depending on where live you may have many or few options) to Plex, which you can then also record.
