I LOVE Forem and Dev.To The stack is very rational.. and "easy-ish" but its not wordpress easy.. most groups..and social networks.. dont burst outside 500 monthly active users.. at best.. 5000~ most groups are small and doesnt ne

What I do is I use a WordPress I stallation to consume RSS and Email Newsletters they have plug-ins that slurp rss feeds (I use feedwordpress) And I use the Email to Post feature built in to WordPress to consume newsletters.. Now that rss

What I find really interesting after mulling it over.. is that there's soo much crap out there -- being made well by really really talented people. I wonder if there's an easy heuristic to figure out if something is worth doing

PageRank wasnt bad. But the 'game-able' mechanism went on way too long.. and it was compounded when Google "went to bed" with SEO firms
