For a well dressed white person it would be sensible advice but I’m not so sure how well it would pan out for a black guy at 3am in Tottenham or even a white kid in a shell suit in Castlemilk for that matter. You almost certainly wouldn’t b

I think a lot of American TV and movies that we see from a young age tend to portray America as some combination of violent, corrupt, venal, frenetic, a struggle. For every thoughtful film or show where no-one brandishes a gun there must be

I just set the input language to French and let autocorrect add the accents, 99% of the time, it gets it right as there are not that many words where the accents change a word into a completely different word. The only one I can think of is

We are supposed to have one bomber sub at sea at all times but a Royal Navy submariner once told me that we quite often don't have this due to cuts in maintenance budgets causing the vessels to be out of service quite frequently. Also,

Two layers of 9mm used to be quite common in UK if you are aiming for a robust, heavy, quality feeling wall. One layer of 12mm feels cheap, not that hard to put a hole in it while moving furniture etc. One layer of 15mm board is common now
