Experience and standards? It's like asking what's the difference between NY Style pizza in NY and NY style pizza in LA. Do you think they are the same? It's also like saying that TexMex in MN is the same as in TX or CA. Any

My first job out of college was starting at 15/hr. I did that for three years, getting a $1/hr raise every year until I landed a "sweet" job for 55k/yr. It wasn't until a couple years after that I realized I w

Oops, you are right. I'd say I hadn't had my coffee yet when I wrote that, but even that's not a good excuse. How embarassing. 100 books does seem right though, I thought the 10 seemed a little too light. I set up an accou

Logging what you read is, oddly enough, a new idea for me. One I'll have to seriously consider doing. In 2003 I started college, and an exercise in a class I had we had to tell two truths and one falsehood and let the class guess the

To be fair though, he did say the amplitude (shaking apmlitude) was 10 times that of a 6.9, which is true, the energy released was 30+ times though, that is correct. (42+ PetaJoules vs 1.4 PJ in the case of the 6.9)

Well, Larry Page and Eric Schmidt are both involved in Planetary Resources[0]. They are actively doing stuff even now[1] (their product is the Arkyd in this case). Not quite officially Google, but I can see where people would assume so. [

I may have glass windows, but usually they are covered up with blinds and or curtains. Especially in the bedroom. It's nice to be able to open them up and let light in when I need to, but I wouldn't put it on a list of necessiti

Also in the Seattle area (Tacoma, really). There does seem to be a lot of activity up north there, I get calls from recruiters all the time, but I just can't swing that commute at this time - or work all of the hours above 40 I'm

My sister recently finished a postdoc and her and her husband moved to the SF area (Mountain View), and quickly realized she couldn't do another one (that limit mentioned in the article I'm gathering). She's not had any luck

That's probably true, but at least in my school, the greatest increases had been in the last few years. When I graduated in 2008, 2009 tuition was increasing something along the lines of 7.4% Probably the majority of that 14 years it

I'm kind of baffled at the downvotes here, is this not a legitimate question or method of debate? I'm not spewing tropes or memes like on reddit. I thought here it's discouraged to downvote because you disagree as well as r

Sure, I'm not doubting that SCFA don't have health benefits (or that Coconut Oil doesn't), but just the claim that this rice has "half the calories" or even significantly less. Making even all of the starch present

Soluble fiber which is fermented by certain gut bacteria[0][1] and product short chain fatty acids (2.5-4 kcal per gram). Those SCFA has a slew of health benefits which the article kind of alludes to but doesn't name. [0]- http:/

I've read though, that that same bacteria produces short chain fatty acids with some non-trivial amount of calories. Also, where is this coconut oil they are putting in going when they cool it? Wouldn't the fat from the coconut

Correct, workflow. Even with the tools themselves, rather than "best practice" it seems mind boggling using SFTP within the editor. With things like SASS, bower, grunt, npm and the like - it doesn't even seem like it'd
