Yeah, I'm in NL, so this is my frame of reference. Also, in many companies English is the main language, so that helps.

Come to Europe. Salaries are (much) lower, but we can use good devs and you'll have vacation days and health care.

I'm starting to get this feeling that there's no way to satisfy everyone. Some people hate the sycophantic models, some love them. So whatever they do, there's a large group of people complaining. Edit: I also think this is b

Isn't this true for literally everything else too? Recruiters seem to be automating everything and it doesn't seem to make their work any more useful. Marketing people seem to generate a ton of slop. Even executives are starting t

Ray-Ban is part of EssilorLuxottica. They own pretty much every single (sun)glasses brand on earth. I'm sure someone in their organization has made the decision that Ray-Ban was the best fit for a brand in their portfolio to do somethi

For me, ChatGPT or any of the other current thinking models are very useful for this type of stuff. I just ask to explain it on my level and then I can ask questions for clarification.

It would not, since you don't want to carry a piece of plastic all day long to set the angle correctly. Most people just use their phones to check the angle though.

I was watching a TV show on Prime for the past months. They introduced ads last month and I instantly returned to piracy for this specific show. I hope my main steaming service (for local content) doesn't get the same idea. I'd ha

Yeah, I'm surprised that I'm being down-voted for this comment for this exact reason. Manufacturers are adding non-compliant USB-C plugs to tons of equipment and it causes these types of issues.

It's not that strange. USB-C is a plug, not everyone who implements the plug also implements it correctly. Some chargers with a USB-C Plug might just send a fixed voltage over the cable, rather then implementing the protocols. I'm

How did it replace ChatGPT for you? I'm running Qwen3 Coder locally and in no way does it compare to ChatGPT. In agentic workflows it fails almost every time. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm falling back to OpenAI al

There are some videos on Youtube discussing the hypotheticals of this. They're never really very positive about the feasibility. Neither on a small scale nor on a country-wide scale. If you'd want to store 1kWh at 10m height, assu

The page says there's no obstacle avoidance. How does it handle obstacles? Does it at least have a sensor to detect it running into an obstacle to then find some way around it? This would be the main concern for me. Also, how long have
