When's the investigation?

I thought that was baseless speculation and the lab leak more likely explained it because it was in close proximity to the market.

Hasn't this always been the most likely cause? I thought practically all evidence pointed to that. I haven't even heard a competing theory.

That's good. So it should be banned on military bases, why not elsewhere?

Alright. Hundreds or thousands of Chinese trackers on every military base in the world. Perfect.

This is an odd statement. GOP was in power from 2016-2020. People confuse entertainment and social media with news sources. Nearly anyone can pay to advertise with traditional or social media. I think you're trying to describe Twitter

I don't think that's true. For instance, Meta will spread whatever information it's legally allowed to if you pay them.

Donald Trump also created his own media platform. It's a pillar of the cult. Without them, they can't keep people fearful and misinformed.

Bytedance chose this by not doing as requested. I wouldn't refer to USA as very democratic or China as a center of human rights violation. If there is no blanket ban, there would have to be many laws, rules, regulations and restriction

Non allied nations should absolutely ban US apps. Additionally, all government devices should have strict security features. It would be wise to also protect certain places from all electronic monitoring.

I would like to understand your position. China doesn't allow US apps. If Chinese apps are allowed, then China has a big advantage over USA. Do you understand what kind of information can be derived from 150 million smart phones?

The owners of Tiktok banned it in the US by not selling off or offering protection for American data. Anyone that thinks giving a hostile nation access to more than 100 million sensor arrays in their country is not thinking well.

Right, but an entity or a number of entities could buy shares in a small cap company to own a majority stake without scrutiny. Seems like a good way to do espionage since corporations are global and have protected status.

I agree with the ban on security basis, but could this be abused by countries to sabotage companies? China could buy majority shares of a company and force them out of business.

I don't think using the service alternately is a good idea. Just don't use it. Twitter has always been known for being toxic. Now the baby troll leads it .. I could never sell my soul like that. Just don't use any social medi

It's an interesting suggestion, but not a good analogy. In many areas schools actually begin the prison pipeline. Children don't stay in school longer or continually cycle in and out. In poor areas they go to jail. It's clear

I don't think you're familiar with the topic. Nearly every single person who goes to jail will be released and may become your neighbor. I suggest you research the subject instead of pulling anecdotes from your ass. " the sta

I'm sorry if words scare you. The prison system is a direct continuation of slavery in the US. I'm not sure what you're analogy attempts to prove. My point on recidivism is that US jails focus on punitive rather than rehabili

In the US police and prisons are directly derived from slave patrols. This is history and factual. In prison and jail inmates work for rates like $.25 an hour. Many places in the south prison inmates are contracted out to work minimum wage

It's beyond dangerous to allow multinational corporations to buy US elections for obvious reasons. They're not aligned with any nation and only motivated by quarterly returns. It's bad for everyone including the robber barons

Agree with the sentiment, but senior, staff, platform, architect, etc can also be granted on merit in orgs with engineering segregated. Playing the high school drama games does get you places though.

My point is by voting for the subscription model by buying into it you're encouraging bad corporate behavior. Subscriptions are anticonsumer. Additionally, all that is available for free. I'm boggled.
