   Even humans cannot do this task if it's a long word unless we "spell" or "look" at individual letters and memorise the count. Attention and tokenization seems to be the problem with LLMs

   > "Simply" is carrying a lot of weight there. True. OP underestimates the actual problem in making this "simple" enough. Sounds like a good problem to be solved, but not sure if this can be solved properly.
