They're called PP, and when you run out of PP on all your moves, you automatically use "struggle" which hurts both you and the enemy.

Sure, they exist, I believe you can still buy a geforce GT 710 for about 50 quid. I have a ryzen server at home, my old one had a 710 in it, but I upgraded to an asrock rack mobo that has an integrated IP kvm / ipmi bmc, which is a pre

The node one does, and there is a fork of the python one that does: https://github.com/danvk/RangeHTTPServer/ I know this because I have also been working on something using that magic sqlite-in-browser project :D

It seems a little unfair to just jump to the conclusion that the problem is C, with basically no evidence of that. The multitude of "do" states did look confusing to me too, but without reading the code I can't say for sure t

There are no browsers on the app store though... Apple doesn't allow it already. Eg: Firefox on iOS is actually just a skin on top of safari. Agree that in general the stance is ridiculous though.

Your blog post is a bit incomprehensible tbh. I did get it eventually, but I got a good bit into the article before I did. #1 issue for me is you say "writing order notes", and that doesn't make sense at all to me. "veri

I dunno, LGR on youtube seems to find a lot of cool retro tech there[1]. A lot of crap too though. Not American, so I can't comment personally. 1: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbBZM9aUMsjEM76RFMofB...

Your FAQ doesn't cover my immediate question: what is a dp? You comment here says display picture, so I guess it's that. I've never heard that term before, it's always been called an avatar in my experience.

This was more like 10 years ago, but yeah, WiFi was still crap (and still is :v). In particular, the signal in that room wasn't great.

WiFi was crap, wired we could pretty much saturate our gigabit NICs. And WiFi had similar, but different filters iirc.

I did a nasty hack a little like this when I was in college. College wired internet had all sorts of filters on it, I can't remember the details exactly. The important thing was it didn't allow the upd ports for counter strike fro

This is an really awesome idea! I have a plan for a static-ish site (updated daily) that I was going to use sqlite for anyway, but server side. I will definitely look into this approach instead!

Here (Ireland) we have separate (brown) bins for food waste. They are also free, while the black (normal waste) bins are not. We also have green bins for recyclables. It's not perfect, but I do think the brown bin system is a pretty go
