Mine is similar, but I use the C preprocessor for templating (you can run it independently, by running `cpp`)

Me too, considering the uncompressed table is tiny anyway, so saving ram for its own sake is not a useful goal here.

Contents of a commit is not a patch, it's the whole tree. The got ui presents it as a patch, but that's generated at runtime by the "git diff" command. It does internally use delta compression to save storage space, but

I would really, really hope not. Certainly raw rendering using the underlying graphics api would be faster. If the canvas api adds more overhead than the entire stack of tech required to render a HTML native widget, then something has gone

Super relevant use case: you are making an app for multiple platforms, say iOS and android. You have some common logic, but for the most part the apps are separate, native apps. This would let you write the common part once, without needing

Am I the only one who increasingly wishes that Firefox could be detached from Mozilla? I donate to Mozilla because I care about Firefox, but all the other crap they waste time and money on is not only useless, it is of negative value to me.

There is still some performance gains to be had by removing the IHS and placing the cold plate of your cooler straight on the die (and even crazy shit like lapping the die), but yeah, the major reason was intel's bad paste under the ih

Would be interested to hear about the user hostile features of github/lab? I've used both quite a bit and they seemed fine to me?

Admittedly, I'm not someone who is very knowledgeable on the subject, but that is not what I got from the article at all. My read on it was that the US needs to be more diplomatic instead of forceful, and try to reach some sensible coo

The best thing about an ereader for me is, I can read it lying down on my side. I wear glasses, so if I'm reading a real book I need to have them on, and lying on my side crunches the frame up. But with my kobo, I can crank the font up

Came across this paper, which is apparently the birthplace of the alpha channel, and it reminded me that many concepts I take for granted were actually invented at some point.
