All this "growth" is largely driven by the debt and grand wisdom of the Fed's monetary policy. Those closest to the money printing press get undiluted gains and by the time that money circulates back down to the general popul

it was the government that caused this in the first place. I always wonder why people suggest this, when the "cure" to the ailment is more of the disease.

Which man we talking about here? Anyhow, my point is that nothing prevents Citizen X to send more money to the IRS. They talk about it and will "do it only if others do it" but like I said they are only using words rather than ac

My general point was essentially that the "average" C# dev has no clue/idea about tech so much so that they don't even know F# exists. I'm not making any assertions about OOP vs FP. Though some claims would be that

There has always been a dark horse OS within .NET its called F#. But what is sad about the state of the average C# dev is that when I ask them about their opinions on F#, they always respond with a "whats F#?" That's the prob

This.... is one way to do it, but it’s got nothing to do with the list you provided. Don’t confuse “oils, animal fats” with things like a fast food meal.

This of course is a big side effect of quantitative easing aka printing money. Those who held on to securities and other advanced financial instruments saw prices being pulled upward due to the massive flood of hot off the press money. Gues

I actually find the F# experience using VS Code + Ionide plugin in a Mac beyond what I’d ever thought was possible without something like a full blown ide. The maintainers of Ionide also just got Microsoft $$ so that’s even better news. But

So let’s go down the list of some of those currencies: 1. USD ~ is markedly different post breaking from gold standard so 40-50 years 2. EUR - created 1999 3. Russian ruble - post fall of Soviet Union. I mean what’s the standard here? One w

The newer or smaller projects will always take in a good pull request. Take a look at any number of “issues” and see if they are legitimate bugs and try and tackle those. What this means is don’t expect to submit a PR right away to <inse

This is only the case because investors are willing to buy treasury bonds and loan the money out at those levels. If things get worse(though no one knows where the line is) and they will, at some point those investors will wisen up and dema

There isn’t “extreme” inequality, there is higher inequality though. Btw, if you were to lookup the root cause for this you’d find the government and the fed printing money that pushes up equities.

what is data engineering to you? You don't need a cloud provider to setup a "cluster". Look at kubernetes where you can run a "cluster" in 1 machine that will have multiple pods/services running.
