Mine works without any issues, hard to say if I got lucky or if the number of issues are not as bad as it seems judging by shared experiences. I am happy with it, but I also lucked out by buying 64 GB RAM for it before prices went up.

As an owner of an original framework 12 I will probably get the fingerprint reader, I underestimated how much I ended up missing it. Upgrading the CPU for better battery life does not seem worth it to me though.
