Javascript is a perfectly reasonable underlying language. Nothing that I know of stops people from compiling python or ruby into javascript. I would never write pure javascript, but using languages that compile to javascript has been pure j

I have 12 virtual screens attached to the function keys and run every application full screen in one of these screens. I never need to cycle through anything but just jump directly to whatever I need.
