Make sure to read the linked blog post from Digital Globe. It is more interesting, in my opinion (it includes some interesting details and seems to be written towards a slightly more technical audience): http://blog.digitalglob

True, but I'd imagine the primary use case for NodeJS wrapping a Rust binary is a long-lived server process, where I'd expect this to actually matter. (Even on Lambda it might matter, given container reuse.)

There's a Download button that pops up both a bunch of git commands and a link to .patch files. Git fetching seems to work for me. If you're interested in built binaries, that I don't know.

My experience has been exactly the reverse. Promises have made async code much easier to read and understand. There is a little learning curve, but it's not so bad.

You're right about the meaning of 'native', but if you expect to have a 'reasonable expectation of performance' just because an app is written as a native binary, you may be sorely disappointed. There are plenty of

S3 buckets with the website feature enabled, but you have to pay for usage and I don't know of a way to emulate Dropbox's local filesystem integration with S3... at least not one that's accessible for nontechnical users.

It's an explanation of conservation of mass. Maybe not the only reason we die, but if no one ever did die, we'd eventually run into problems, er, assembling the next generation. In fact all you need to assume in order to run up
