Maintaining two product lines for two segments is a recipe for lack of focus and serving two masters. In the end you will choose to focus on one at a time and may never do both.

The first mover advantage is the way we describe winning products (value propositions) in hindsight. They are almost never, ever temporally first in any regard except the first to bundle together the right set of experiences.

The main reason they were acquired? Not the tech, not the audience (does FB need either?). I guess for the brand + engagement? Someone said as a defense against the big G acquiring them later - sounds plausible?

Wasn't too long, read and extremely interesting. A sincere thank you. Cancer itself is such a rollercoaster of emotions for everyone involved and these promises and failures of breakthroughs are a sad and ironic parallel.

Why is it that I've read maybe a dozen articles like this in the past couple of years but still don't see much change in the way cancer is being treated in the wild? Will there be a year in the not-too-distant future when all of these brea

I grew up in my dad's architecture firm (literally, he worked day and night so when I was sick from school I used to bunk between massive cabinets of blueprints ...), so I've seen (and run) more blueprints than 99% of the humans on the plan

The Stormpulse map was originally written in AS2 by yours truly. We recently moved it over to haXe and are now generating a .swf and an iOS app from the same codebase. I should say by "we moved it over" I mean an MIT Media Lab PhD. No wa
