I met my girlfriend on Bumble. We have a great relationship, now almost a year in. Bumble, Tinder etc. are only tools, it's how we use them and plenty of us are quite capable of using them in a "moral" and savoury way. So it&

It sounds to me less like a problem with the technology but more with your habits and self discipline. If Slack is interrupting you then why not just close it? And don't open it until you actually need it. Another alternative will only

Who really wants to fully customise their system? I'm not interested in spending time and effort customising my OS, I'd rather use that time to do work or use my laptop for entertainment. I'd rather it works proficiently out

Seconding simplenote. Works across platforms (macos and android for me) plus web. Doesn't do anything clever, other than markdown integration and basic tagging, but what it does works well.

I'd probably suggest debugging being one of the main killer features. I'm not a VS/VSCode user but I am a Sublime Text and PhpStorm user. You can debug in Sublime Text but I'm not sure you'd want it to be your prima

How about those in the arts as a profession? I don't think they'd have a successful career if they didn't love their job. I think they'd produce pretty abysmal art.

I certainly realise that developers (or other employees) aren't, and likely will never be, paid the same despite where they live. I accept that is the reality, however is it reasonable ? I don't believe it is at all reasonable to

We have a bunch of projects that are stored in a mercurial repo so I've been using Sourcetree for that as I've found MacHG pretty unusable. I think it's pretty good, not as good in my opinion (the UI, mainly) as Tower for Mac
