I hate the way McDonalds consistently undercooks their fries. They come in the bag limp and chewy instead of crunchy. I too prefer fries elsewhere, Dicks Drive-In in Seattle has delicious fries, for example.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with Apple at their Genius Bar, and on the phone. I don't know of any other manufacturer that has such an in-store experience, but it sure was nice not having to ship my machine out and instead just

Interesting. I did buy SimCity 4 and attempted to get a city going. However, it was so different from SimCity 2000 that I had some problems with infrastruture not working right and other stuff. Mostly I think I was just burned out! I do lik

nice looking mac, but my late 2006 black MacBook is still working nicely and as the new MacBook no longer has Firewire I won't be upgrading any time soon.

Bought my nephew (13) the eepc 900 in August, in late September it failed suddenly, they're sending it back under warranty. Hope it works better when it comes back...it's a nice little computer though.

if Apple had added an additional USB 2.0 port, that would have been better, than just removing the Firewire port altogether and leaving just two USB 2.0 ports. I would need a hub if I were to upgrade to this MacBook, which now I don't plan

We walked into Muji in London a couple weeks ago. It's an amazing store. I ended up buying a few things there that were quite unique and useful.

the reason USB 2.0 is more common in the marketplace is that it's cheaper than firewire. Firewire, or IEEE1394, requires a license from Apple (this could be just if the company wants to use the term "Firewire"). Each firewire device has its

the Macbook keyboard takes some getting used to. it's a shame they moved away from the nicer keyboards on the old Macbook Pros. I use a bluetooth keyboard while at home with my Macbook as well as an external monitor, which makes it a lot ni

not necessarily true. there is a distinction to be made between cheap and affordable. around where I live, there are no affordable houses being built anywhere. every new home is at least $600k, far outside the wage of the average resident.

this is a classic Atkins diet, and it will work, but it's a diet you need to stay on for the rest of your life if you want to remain lean. I'm currently addicted to carbs at the moment, and would have a real difficult time giving up beer.
