No- liveness probe just restarts the pod if the check fails, doesn't kill it.

Also, in our case it doesn't help when CoreOs auto-upgrades docker versions :( I'm really looking forward to rkt so that we can finally have a solid alternative to docker.

You may have misunderstood me. The case I'm talking is, the node reports Ready, but the pod itself is not functioning properly. One common issue we have is the pod gets stuck in a restart loop (for whatever reason, including starvation

We've been running Kubernetes in production for over a year. It has a steep learning curve and it takes a lot of time to fine-tune the underlying infrastructure (we use CoreOs) to make it production-ready. There still seems to be a lot

In my experience, docker itself is not very stable, and swarm is nowhere close to Kubernetes offers.

This look nice, is there a hosted version of BlueOcean? I've been looking into (preferably hosted) pipeline-based CD options because simple CIs like Travis and CircleCi are not really meant true CD. What does everybody recommend?

I got a free rental car from Amazon in summer 2013. I don't think they do that anymore tho.

Don't have an example, but I have set up a few "serverless" cron jobs: 1) Create a Lambda function 2) Trigger it using CloudWatch Events. You can set up cron like rules and AWS will trigger them for you.

I started using AWS API Gateway + Lambda for these type of problems where I don't actually need a 24/7 running server. Bots / webhook listeners do really fit for API Gateway + Lambda use cases.

We currently use Reviewable.io. It has a lot of features that I expect from a code review tool, but the UI is just very bad and slow on so many levels. Will give omniref a try. @timr, I think you should charge per user, not per repository +
