> Sorry, nobody is denying the benefits of free trade and specialisation, come on. Then explain the current resurgence of protectionism right now. This redistribution argument has very little to do with trade, and actually undermines it.

Perhaps the parent missed something in the yada yada . I'm not sure why people fail to see the benefits of free trade and specialization in their own lives. Just imagine working all day long, out in field, just to put food on your own

All features work without JavaScript I'm not sure why this is a selling point. Yes, there are many upsides to this, particularly from the maintainer's standpoint, but I think it might just be a side-benefit that only certa

Juxtapose this story with Amazon "charging" their HQ2 hosts $48k per employee [0] in tax credits. For being such an efficient company on the surface, they sure have a long way to go in finding efficient ways to expand work environ

This is what is taught in our schools. Grievance studies. If someone can take offense by reading between the lines and constructing a strawman, you must conclude that offense was intentional and attack the offender. Benefit of doubt, presum

Less... a bezel-less mini could be 2 inches larger and have much more battery life. I pretty much only use my iPad mini at home for reading and browsing, so it doesn't need cellular nor the world's best camera.

Okay, then say that. Don't downvote, or if you have to downvote, justify it then and there. BTW, people use the mouse to select and change the cursor position all the time, so it's very relevant to the topic since it's a step

This should have been an opt-in feature. And if enough people opted in, only then do you make it the default, and when you do that, alert all users to that change. Hiding the protocol was understandable. For web pages it was 99% http or h

For me it still has the same frustrations as Smartthings or some other cloud based solution, but having more integrations and deeper insight as to what's happening, when, where and how is the big selling point for me. That and the spee

Wow, is that not the single best photo summing up the current state of affairs?! Straight out of a James Bond movie. It's got pallets full of poison, red Russian labeling, the cartoonish president himself! Can it get any more sinister?
