That makes a lot more sense then. It's still a misleading statement to say "writes" vs "transactions" since you could (potentially) make fewer writes and support more transactions. The ratio between the two is a mea

This description is very misleading. 120,000 writes per second is accurate, talking about actual durable storage (disk) writes. But it's only 3,330 transactions, which should be the number that a user cares about. I don't have pro

Are multi-GPU systems worth it until you have a TON of experience building parallel models? Almost all of the reference architectures I've seen are essentially serial, and TF doesn't have good data-parallelism built in to make use

You are probably seeing the color management of monitor 1 in effect on monitor 2 while the window is less than halfway. Once it goes above half then monitor 2's color management takes over fully and it disappears.

Exactly this. Audits don't care if there isn't any practical malware or if nobody can access the system outside 3306 and 22. Audits say "all production systems implement antivirus software" as a binary checkbox.

Thought this was FreightFarms from the description. I haven't seen the important details on either side, but it seems a lot easier to guarantee yields and more automated / automate-able by FF than by DIY farm-in-a-box.

Are there any public "skewing" NTP pools that distribute the leap seconds as lag / gain over 24 or 48 hours as some of the large providers do? That seems to be the generally accepted answer to leap-second chaos, and certainly

Onr of the main points of arithmetic coding is that you don't have to do a frequency count first like you would for Huffman. It's efficient enough that you can build your model piecewise as you go, and only sacrifice a few bits of
