Anyone ever played those Netflix Games? I wished that was an add-on instead of included in the price.

Not a huge fan of moving to forums for these kind of community activities. A big barrier when things get indexed by Google. Limits discussions.

Never heard that a company tell the reason got dismissed. they will confirm they worked there. saying performance or similar things can cause legal issues. At least in Europe. in some countries even code sentences are not allowed.

One of the reasons to have a mono repo is to avoid the mirroring of PRs between repos. If you have 40+ repos and each time a package gets updated and you need to raise 39 PRs to bump the package. It's getting really old to do mirroring

Not sure if I would trust a UK initiative for housing. My experience of the build quality here isn't great

Just wished it didn't cost £140 to get from London to Edinburgh (4.5 hour train ride). It's stupidly expensive you can fly there for a lot less

I still enjoy Julian Bucknall's Tomes of Delphi book: https://www.lulu.com/content/435417 Explains everything well and easy to apply in other languages

Cancelling everything but Viki and iQIYI. More than enough great content on those and watching the most. Netflix has a lot of boring tv shows and a lot of their Korean shows are also on Viki [1] or iQ [2] [1] https://www.viki.co

Still you need to maintain the properties. You can’t expect the tenant to pay for fixing the roof or bathroom leaks, painting the house etc. That not replacing lightbulb etc

What do they mean with promise? As in they have in writing they would payout a X amount? My experience is that typical employee contracts have plenty of ways to avoid paying out bonuses

Still think the IBM keyboards that came with the Model 80 etc were the best keyboard I ever used. Only terrible when you wanted to play on the computer late at night while your parents were asleep. Keyboards were quite noisy :)

I never experienced a waiting list for LV. I can happily buy a Neverfull Tote bag online. If I order it today I have it on time for Christmas. Definitely not the Rolex experience of years long waiting list. Maybe it's because I message

Can't even get 4G speeds (~100Mbit) anyways :) That would be faster than the internet at home lol

Which provider? I don't get such speeds anywhere in London with O2

Never experienced issues getting anything from LVMH. What's scarce there? If you message your sales person they will have it next time you visit the store.

Yeah, it's pretty sad. At least the time you have to wait to get the chance to buy Rolex, you can get a few Patek's like a 5520P. No years of waiting.

Rolex aren't the best watches but they keep value pretty well for a bunch of models. Some of the grey market prices they charge are pretty ridiculous even wit h prices going down. Personally I prefer to spend the same amount of money o

Guess Tesla doesn't want to be associated with a company that has recently been described as bribing government employees, or breaking and bending rules.

Yes, the same here or that Adobe is required to sell Illustrator or something.Clearly Figma was the only one Adobe was really worried about as they attempt to acquire it. Not like Affinity or Sketch.
