Yeah, my guess is it was actually deleted but because of the PR hoopla they went to tape or did something equivalently time-consuming to recover the data. It's something that wouldn't scale to everyone, but worth a day of someone's time in

What's the high-level reason for such a big discrepency between WebKit browsers? E.g. I'm confused why some would have :nth-child support and other wouldn't. Do all these companies have their own local forks? Are some using old versions

Since it was an extraction from WordPress, which is GPL-licensed, maybe it was super hard to make this library LGPL since everyone who had contributed code had GPL-licensed it.

Call it a waste of money, but I really enjoyed the height-adjustable desk I had at my last company. You'd turn a crank and could set the surface to any height. It probably cost a fortune, but was ergonomically awesome.

For every awesome PhD who can code, there are 3 who forgot how to code, never coded anything beyond a toy, or are too good to code what we code. Maybe all the good ones get snagged up by Google.

Call me a naysayer, but this is the danger of starting your company too close to the open source flame. Eventually the community decides they'd rather have an open/free version and you get burned.
