Once the policy decision is made that it can run some kind of scanning, it opens the doors for any kind of scanning. Today it's that "neural hash", tomorrow it's going to do something even more invasive.

Actually this is exactly about expenses you are not consciously "registering", but they are real, and they add up. A daily coffee is not "registering" as well, but it's massive amount of money if you consider how mu

My take on this is that Tesla is doing this to kneecap competitors like Ionity who like to offer very non-competitive rates for charging. If your vehicle is from outside of Ionity "old boys network" you must pay 0.79 €/kWh. T

I saw an older Model S (still with "teslamotors.com" licence plate holder) charging at the new V3 supercharger, and it had to use an adapter. CCS FTW.

Sorry at (1) yield means yield. Maybe it shouldn't have stuck the nose so far out, but yeah you have to wait until proper gap in the traffic. The non-accelerating to highway speed is the real bug though.

It is getting more popular, also because vehicles charging at same energy input (say, 100 kW) can show larger kmh value (or mh) depending on how efficient the car is: the more efficient car can go further on the same energy input.

The electric revolution can't come soon enough, and yet these "green" protesters seem to have lost forest for the trees. I see these protests very much like the green protest against nuclear energy. Talk was "renewables&

Good! Nobody actually wants you to do the other thing that you're already not doing. Keep your head down. Be positive. Keep trying to move the needle: but in a neutral, inoffensive way. And everything will get better.

(I think you are making reference to that fact I also saw in Wikipedia: "in Spanish, "maté" with the stress on the second syllable means "I killed".)

what is "set point"? Is it a point that is a part of some kind of set? What's "point" - is it part of some kind of coordinates? You are documenting _what_. To document _why_, you must explain why somebody would want

There's some amount of entitlement in that exclamation, though. The world, I feel, does not actually owe you to make any sense, or move in any predictable, safe pattern. The world will shift, and leave you behind. Feeling resentful abo

It is a terrible moment to buy. 800V charging tech is just becoming available, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia Ev6 are like next gen comparing to VW ID3 and ID4, Skoda Enyaq, even Tesla Model 3 will struggle to keep up. I expect much more clarity i

There's a play on this idea by the way, "Dostoevsky-Trip". https://www.srkn.ru/texts/dostoev1.shtml Not sure if it's been translated. I did see it in a theater, and it was a lot of fun.

Finally a story from somebody who "didn't make it". Confirmation bias of success paints the wrong picture: we need more stories like this from the opposite camp.
