What's the feeling on raw C++ these days? Is it still truly mainstream, or have C++ users, at least on Microsoft, mostly migrated to managed C# code? Certainly at the company I work at, there's been an active migration over mayb

Weird. I remember in 1988 that we had a Dell 286 that I rather thought was one of the fastest PC's around, and that the 386/486 etc., didn't show up on the street until well into the 90's. We routed 6 layer PC cards on i

Get Dick Merrill in there and take my chances on Kodak being able to make something of the Foveon sensor. Mind you, at least Sigma managed to get the DP1/2/3M cameras out into the wild, and very nice they are too!

I maintain that the iPhone 4S is still the finest piece of consumer electronics ever created. They really hit a home run with that one. I've since moved to a big 6S, but my 4S is still quite usable.

The form factor of the Apple Watch ruins it for me. Watches are (generally) round. The square shape has the same jarring effect on my aesthetic sense as the rounded PIMs from the Danger HipTop/Nokia N-Gage era. A Moto360 but at about 1
