   The HUB takes up all of the space where you disk or drum brakes would be. ICE cars don't benefit from regenerative braking so you'd have to come up with another solution of how to stop the car.

   We had the same problem with power plants dumping hot untreated water back in the environment. This is why cooling towers are synonymous with nuclear power plants. This is an easy solution to fix, but like all engineering it costs extra.
