I think it was a combination of both. By giving them more time, they were able to revisit topics and giving new perspectives. Also, more time meant more time to get comfortable and share more intimate topics.

I really enjoyed the depth that Startup Podcast/Gimlet Media went with Dating Ring. In my opinion, there's a lot of great content you can cover in an hour but it's hard to cover new content given how many other podcasts there
