The open source initiative failed to obtain the trademark. So "Open Source" as a term is not trademarked, and can mean anything. IMO, the only useful description of open source is source code licensed under one of the licenses approved by

jslint (and it's derivatives) are still under this license. (which is a shame, because this clause makes it incompatible with the GPL family of licenses).

whatever stack you're using, it probably doesn't have very stable support yet. afaik there is no SPDY for nginx, the apache module seems quite experimental, etc.. So, unless you have the chops to fix issues when they come up, you may want

If you know the id of a tweet you can still access it I believe. https://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/show.json?id=20 still works, which allows you to construct https://twitter.com/#!/jack/status/20 which also still works. So, it's only

I agree with the need for an upload button. I'm on Ubuntu 11.10 and dragged an image from Thunar to Firefox. Firefox just opened the image instead of it opening in your application.

Typically the people looking "through the source code" are the developers working on the the project. Both occasional contributors who want to fix a bug or add a feature for themselves, or the main developers taking those patches and addin

That doesn't sound correct. Both PEP 333 and 3333 specifically mention that the server may use chunked encoding.

I used to run a setup like this for a while. Spam filtering is the most annoying part of it, so I soon outsourced that (first to google postini, then to spamhero.com). But then I realized that my e-mail is now flowing through these servic

If you want to be part of the e-mail pipeline, your application should use SMTP for both sending and recieving. Use a spam service such as spamhero.com or google postini as the MX for your domain so you do not have to do spam filtering your

According to one of the comments the add-in rewrites amazon searches to provide affiliate income to the authors of the extension. So, it may not be in jest. I certainly wouldn't use this extension.

IMO you shouldn't use stickers or a dvorak keyboard to learn a new layout, the goal is to touch-type, without looking at the keyboard. The F and J keys have ridges so you know where your index fingers should rest by just feeling the key

I use dvorak with vim, and having the hjkl keys in other locations has never been a problem for me. If you know vi well you probably don't even use them that much, as there are usually faster ways to move around (e.g. "b" and "w" to move a
