German and French titles: yes definitely. Portuguese (like my aforementioned Cidade de Deus)? No, safe some exceptions nobody knows beforehand what it means. Guess we're just used to finding it out afterwards, eg an article about the film c

Off the off topic: why is the English world so intent on translating everything? (Much like the French world I guess) In the Dutch speaking part of Belgium we try to refer to most movies in their original language (Das Leben Der Anderen, Ci

For those wondering http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=3577205 (29 days ago) Didn't get much attention back then. (+8 at time of writing)

I thought that too, at first, but it seemed to blatantly illegal to believe. Going by their site, it's mostly for government agencies against other agencies?[1] I'm not proficient enough at law to comment on the legalities of it. Another po

Also odd: You can keep giving "kudos", refresh the page and repeat, the counter doesn't mind. Can't seem to take your vote(s) away though.

Not to mention the ages it took before you could simply make an account without an invite and what not. I never understood the hype.

Was this really that "long-awaited"? I for one quite like a clean New Tab and if I did want something like the envisioned, then I don't think 3 by 3 would quite cut it. Not to mention that if people were really that anxious for it, I would

Not accusing you of doing so, it just struck me as relevant. I didn't notice before it was just an exact copy of their title. I would argue that in this case a title edit could've been better.

As a little addendum to that: the way that the articles of sites of some news agencies have this uncanny tendency to turn every single sentence in a paragraph of its own is something that's been bugging me. I know everyone feels like gettin

I don't know why you didn't mention it in the title, but I would think it's pretty relevant that it wasn't just an iPad. It was " An iPad with a G-Form Extreme Edge case ". Doubt the survival is something the iPad should be credited for.
