My real complaint with google maps of late is how terribly slow they've been. I've tried on an android phone, an osx laptop, a windows desktop, all at different locations. The common theme is the abysmally slow load time. Bing map

There are tons of people who have all sorts of coding accomplishments. I don't have any in particular, but I also don't care. I do enjoy working in this field, it's never been an issue of being forced into it, but I also don&

I don't understand parents who feel trapped, but I am not one of those helicopter parents. I let me kids do things on their own, pick their own activities, and, within reason, do whatever they want. I have no interest in living through

That's another thing I forgot to mention, many people just don't want the first slice because it's been sitting out for a while. I don't fault them for that.

I worked in a poor area. The people who live there, by and large, don't give a shit what you think of them.

If someone asked me for it to be even thinner, I would change it. The thing is, the default setting is REALLY THIN. If you want it thinner, it becomes transparent. It ends up taking FOREVER to slice because it just shreds to some extent. It

I worked at a deli during college, and people did this same type of thing on slices. By default, I'd always pick a pretty thin slice. Most people really like thinly sliced meats. The first thing you do is slice once and show them the s

I don't like it. It's heavy and bloated for what I would ever need it to do (put music onto my ipod). In fact, I have it installed solely for that purpose.

Funny, I applied to work there around the same time. I was working at a deli at the time, making $7/hr, thinking "man there has to be something better." I thought of how I liked going to Radio Shack when I was younger, and ho

I use and enjoy DigitalOcean. Good community docs, good support all around. I've referred a few people to it as well. I'm hoping they keep their support/pricing even if they get big.

This is interesting, but I feel like I have no real knowledge of the situation to give a good vote. I voted 'yes' as I assumed, after looking at the map, that most Scots want it. It doesn't matter to me, though. I'm not

There was something similar to this at a startup called Broadcastr where people would record audio at a given place. They ended up pivoting, and I hadn't heard anything again about that idea until your post. The real flaw with this is
