Sure, but they could logically glue a physical ethernet port onto the USB bus on a zero the same way it's on the USB bus on a 3B+... The BOM cost would be what, a few dollars at most for a cheap 8P8C jack and the ethernet chip.

I think RAM cost inflation has made this worse, I just checked amazon.ca and basic Intel N150 mini PC with 16GB are pushing $469+ CAD before tax. The one I got a year and a half ago with 12GB seems like a real bargain now.

I have an old 3B+ for which I bought a 802.3af-to-microusb power thing on amazon for $9, attached an old USB webcam to it (let's consider this to be free, it's certainly fully depreciated) and it sits in a utility room watching an

This is AC wall power as measured by a kill-a-watt, I have an Intel N150 mini PC here with 12GB of RAM, 512GB cheap NVME SSD, with wifi active, it's 8.2W idle at an xfce4 desktop with a lighted keyboard and mouse attached to it. It cam

It would be a heck of a lot more useful if it had a basic (even 100Mbps) wired ethernet interface on it, then you could put it places without worrying about its horrid 802.11n-only 2.4 GHz only wifi with tiny antenna, be assured it had a re

I know RAM prices aren't under control of the raspberry pi project, but something has gone dreadfully wrong in the economy when individual 8GB+ raspberry pi are now costing $200 to $300 for just the board before you add USB-C power sup

I don't know why anyone would expect to trust a model smaller than about the size of qwen 3.6 27B (or 3.8 27B, or 3.6 35B-A3B) for coding. There just isn't enough baked-in knowledge of existing correct code syntax from having vacu

No new PR for like the last 14 months and a conspicuous lack of being able to actually purchase them. This came to mind today regarding electric aircraft.
