I do happen to know quantum tunneling a bit. I had the fortune to use a electronic tunnel microscope to observe the surface of gold (Ag) surface. But I can’t seem to “intuitively grasp” it

Err, I must confess this is confusing to me. On one hand the GP stated that observation and the “inference” or the uncertainty are two different phenomena. But you seem to suggest otherwise. Did I get something wrong here?

Wow, that sounds very profound - whether we observe (measure?) or not the uncertainty will be there. I must admit I couldn’t understand the connection with the sun burning up the fuel. Perhaps you could elaborate on it a bit more?

Could you please explain what you mean by “fundamental natural uncertainty”? Why is it (i.e. uncertainty) fundamental? What makes it natural? Can we not observe it in an artificial (i.e. not natural ) setting? Thanks!

I thought the act of observation was what caused the uncertainty. But it appears to me that you’re saying that may not be the case. Could you please enlighten me? What causes the uncertainty if not the act of measurement (observation?) Do t

Thanks, I skimmed through it all (took me 5mins) and nice work! Some of the links and guides you’re referring to are indeed very helpful. The thing that surprised me the most, however, was your recommendation for antivirus bitdefender. I th

I fail to see how asking someone if they know what science is would help with a constructive discussion. Did you mean to imply that the micro-expression related work the the GP cited is not scientific in your opinion? Or are you questioning

Interesting point though I am not sure how the 5th amendment would apply here. Specifically, I thought that 5th amendment allows you to not answer a question or not testify. After you say something, it looks like using it to make a case

This is interesting! The ground truth for the study couldn’t have been far removed from the “ground truth”. I am afraid this appears to me as a pattern where any dataset whatsoever is thrown at ML algorithms and the results are heralded as
