If you want to see how complex and yet beautiful this game can get, checkout Nilaus’ Factorio Master Class on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLV3rF--heRVu2xlDGZiRb... He also made those designs with communit

Thank you for mentioning Zenodo. I really liked how EU funding agencies push for reproducibility/citability of data and code when you submit proposals to them. I haven’t filed any NSF stuff (yet) but didn’t come across any such hard re

I’m not sure if it’s true anymore. I experienced good performance when they switched to using xhyve/bhyve (basically use docker for mac). Can you shade more light on your experience? When was this? What circumstances? Which kind of app

That sounds great! Can you please share some good models/links for the usb switcher thingy? (I had no idea such a thing existed in the first place!)

Wait, does that mean GPU support includes NVIDIA only or will it also include (hopefully in future) ATI as well?

Wouldn’t this severely hamper the use of shared single mega repo at Google and also very easy and effective sharing of all kinds of data across products and services?

I would wait until they get field trials and do a launch in India (which is what Jio plans anyways). I think if they can do it at India scale and complexity - they can pretty much do it anywhere in the world. India scale is obvious - large

I found the analysis on winners and losers for the Indian model to be lacking in depth. Specifically, if the Jio Platform truly intends to be a platform (as described by the Bill Gates line[1]) then it's a huge win for Indian companies
