While the article mentions alternatives like links and w3m, I'd like to hear HN's opinion on links vs w3m vs lynx.

I do own a T460s as well and have to say, the build quality of the Framework is not as good in comparison. But given that the Framework is cheaper, I think it's still a fair deal. One thing I should point out here: you can order a Fram

Many games run acceptably well on Linux nowadays thanks to Valve's efforts with the Steam Deck, pushing technologies like Wine -> Proton and DXVK. The biggest chunk of games that do not work falls into the multiplayer / live-se

Living in EU, had no problem getting a Framework laptop. However, there might be comparatively higher shipping costs if you order parts without also ordering a laptop from their store.

As for distro, if you want something that works out-of-the-box, with modern desktop features, I'd give Linux Mint (Cinnamon Edition) a try. Personally, I enjoy tinkering and learning, so I set up Arch with Wayland on my laptop. I would

Also, thank you very much for this! This is something I've been looking for in the past and it looks very polished and easy to use, easy to integrate!

The README mentions some ad-blocker integration. Is there an element zapper (click on element on the page to remove it temporarily)?

Yes, the current Fiat Panda Cross is no longer 4x4. Wanted to buy one new, but they aren't available anymore here in Austria.

No no, I think you misunderstood my critic. Defer working on block-scope is fine; however, if I exit the block through a return (or break), the deferred function is not called. To my knowledge, you need a compiler extension to implement thi

I've seen this implementation of defer a few times now. I really dislike calling this defer (like the keyword in Go) as the given code won't be executed on return.

Do I understand correctly that they are building on top of wlroots? If so, I am pretty happy about this development as I might get to enjoy the solidity of XFCE apps in other WMs / compositors like Sway or River.

We've invested some time to improve this situation for the games we port, at least to some extent. Keyboard input is read as a combination of scan code + win32 virtual key information to determine the physical key pressed on your keybo

Is there support for rounding / chamfering edges? I no longer use OpenSCAD because its annoyingly complicated to do for non-trivial shapes.

I am actually quite happy with PowerToy's FancyZones [1]. It's not perfect but it's working nicely 99% of the time; although it does not tile automatically. [1] https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows&#

I do have a TS100 which I use either with a battery pack or a wall charger. For storing it, I am using a metal casing that is used for a single cigar. There's also room for a tiny metal cleaning brush which protects the tip during stor

Do Alt+ shortcuts still not work for navigating the hamburger (and other) menus? Or did they finally fix that across GTK applications? I stopped using most GNOME application due to this decline in accessibility features.
