Programmers with degrees claiming years of experience who can't write FizzBuzz - Is this true as of 2021 ? It would be astonishing to me if it's true though.

Thanks OP. Appreciate the clarification.

OK this is a fair point. Never thought of it this way. Only OP can clarify but I hope it's just something he spent play money on that shot up 100x or something. However, the rest of his portfolio isn't something I would emulate ei

Yeah you can apply for the spring semester. typically you don't get funded for MS at admission. Some unis might give you a tuition scholarship. You might find an assistantship once you're here. If money is an issue I would recomme

Please be advised that if you're born in India, you can never "settle" in the US. Green card backlogs for Indians are very long (100+ years). Barring some exceptions, You will be on H1B forever. Most Indians currently in the

Thanks for the response. With that being said, any thoughts on why medium is so slow to load a page then ?

by vsskanth 6y ago
Does it take timeouts and retries into account ? For example, medium takes forever to load in Firefox mobile with unlock origin, which I'm assuming is from time spent waiting on network requests and retrying them.

I really like spyder for it's Matlab like IDE but I wish they handled virtual environments better. I also don't like that I have to install their kernel in the venv to use it.

are there different ethics rules for "speaking fee" vs "consulting fee" ?

I acknowledge the high prices. I'm just wondering what kinds of opportunities this prevents.

How much of a drag is the high mobile data cost in the US for the technology market ? Or does it even matter ?
405.
by vsskanth 6y ago
Could you elaborate on why ? I've also thought about this and would like to hear your thoughts. If I were to take a guess, it would be politically connected organizations benefiting from the welfare system. I wonder what these organiza

I'm shocked a company with such practices exists in the USA in 2021. I wish workers rights are brought up more often during presidential and mid term elections.

Does anything in the design indicate the Sony and Bose headphones are more prone to breaking ? Sure, you can get better build quality with a metal chassis but plastic headphones are much lighter on the head than metal, which make them more

IMO tech overplayed their hand. If there's one thing lawmakers don't like, it is being shown their power is limited. This time it was the right, but the left knows it can happen to them next. I feel congress has realized tech has

When I was 11 years old I learnt to program starting with text based games in Turbo C++ or something. Just setup a pc with constraints, pick a language, teach the syntax and let your kid make a game you can play with.

If you don't mind, can you elaborate more ? You're saying android auto on the car doesn't execute any code ?

by vsskanth 6y ago
Android Auto in the car should have access, the phone is just a data gateway. The entertainment system can read and send CAN bus signals. [1] I never claimed the phone can connect to CAN. [1] https://www.wired.com/2015/
