`podman` keeps the compatibility with Docker CLI params, so `podman build` is a wrapper around `buildah bud`

That doesn't mean Canonical gets paid whenever someone spins up an Ubuntu VM. AFAIK there is no public info about Canonical revenue anyway

This article may have a point about poor state of basic computer education in US, but its just blindly guesses the reasons on the topic of why so many hackers are from ex-USSR countries. A pretty good level of CS doesn't help here much

Ubuntu trademarks would still remain in package names, changelogs etc., so a full recompilation is still required
