Not that quadrangle made that point, but a program written in point-free style could still exhibit dynamic behaviour. Still not very constructive or relevant criticism on the page though.

C-v and M-v in Emacs and friends and CTRL+b and CTRL+d in vi and clones. EDIT: and if you were fine with reaching for PgDn then SHIFT+up, SHIFT+down in vim is probably a viable option as well.

I got a similar setup, one vertical and one horizontal. I got an Emacs frame for both of them but end up doing most coding with the vertical monitor and using the horizontal one for peripheral tasks (browsing, calc-mode, reading docs, etc)

This is often the case in Haskell APIs, easily abusable or functions with hard to predict side-effects are usually prefixed with "unsafe", for example unsafeCoerce or unsafePerformIO.

x for "look at" and i for "inventory". (I see that you have already fixed these). "look around" used to be "look" even in the old days iirc and in these days "l" is the common alias. It seems like you have given to many functions to a "use"

I use MPD. It's really lightweight, have a simple and straightforward concept of playlists and I can use the standard *nix tools to mutate and create playlists. http://mpd.wikia.com
